New Staff BreakfastEach year, HEF welcomes new teachers to the district with a delicious hot breakfast and door prizes at their new member orientation.

Candygrams from StudentsHEF helps our students say thank you to their teachers and favorite staff members. During the annual Skeleton Festival, all materials are provided for students to send personalized notes and treats.

Winter MagicWe know that the time between Winter Break and Spring Break can be a trying time for educators and staff. HEF works with donors to provide fun surprises like a Snack Attack delivery. Just a little something to show the community cares.

In addition, HEF supports educators through our Innovative Educator Grants and Celebration of HCPS Educators of the Year. HEF also works to celebrate specific groups. For example in 2025, HEF launched our Bus Buddy Club to honor school bus drivers.
