The Greg Kuykendall Memorial Scholarship Fund is proud to present the "Golf for Greg" event to raise money for this worthy scholarship. The event will be held on October 23 in Fairfax, VA. The Greg Kuykendall Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating Harrisonburg High School student athlete in need of financial assistance to attend college. Greg graduated from Harrisonburg High School in 1985 and was a talented athlete and scholar. He went on to attend the University of Virginia where he earned a bachelors and masters degree.
Greg was an enthusiastic alumnus and to honor his memory, the scholarship recipient may not necessarily be the best athlete, but rather is known for consistently doing the right things and has displayed, during his or her high school career, the attributes of strong character, team-play and sportsmanship that Greg displayed and valued so much in his life |
