The Harrisonburg Education Foundation has been providing funds for teachers and students in the Harrisonburg City Public Schools since 1994. We celebrated the start of our 3rd decade with "A Night in 3D: Diversity During the Decades" at the Spotswood Country Club on April 17, 2015.
Over 75 Teacher Feature Items were donated. These items from HCPS staff included unique experiences, one-of-a-kind times, or specialized services. The LIVE and Silent Auction raised nearly $10,000 in addition to the $30,000 in donations! These monies will be used towards Innovative Educator Grants, HHS Senior Scholarships, and other educational opportunities during the 2015-16 school year.
