HCPS Innovative Educator Grant Applicants

Innovative Educator Grants are open to all HCPS Staff for projects that support the growth and learning of HCPS students.  HEF is available to assist you with your application so do not hesitate to reach out [email protected].  Let us fund your idea and help you make it into a reality!

Eligibility

  • Projects that request supplementary pay for teachers as the primary budget item will not be recommended for approval.
  • Grants will not be awarded for conferences, field trips or musical productions at this time.
  • Grant funds can not be used for reimbursement for project components already resourced.
  • Grants are processed through Central Office purchase orders (please no international orders, giftcards or other items that are difficult to process through HCPS POs)

We are thrilled to announce exciting enhancements to the HEF Innovator Educator Grant Opportunity aimed at better supporting your innovative projects throughout the year. 

Year-Round Accessibility: Effective immediately, the HEF Innovator Educator Grant Opportunity is now open year-round! We recognize that great ideas can strike at any time, so educators can submit applications whenever inspiration strikes. This flexible approach ensures that you can pursue your projects on your schedule.

Expanded Review Opportunities: For the 2024-25 school year, we have scheduled two review periods to accommodate your needs:
  • Fall Review Period: Applications submitted by September 30th will be reviewed and awarded by October 31st, supporting projects from November 2024 to May 2025.
  • Spring Review Period: Applications submitted by January 30th will be reviewed and awarded by February 15th, supporting projects from March 2025 to December 2025.
